Proudly Serving with Integrity

The members of the Haskins Police Department are committed to establishing and maintaining an open, trustworthy and respectful working relationship with the community which we proudly serve. To that end, we have established haskinspolice.org. We will make every effort to ensure that our site stays current with the latest information and news.
On our web page you may have noted our Mission Statement. Although many agencies boast a Mission Statement, you will not find another agency that is more dedicated to its Mission. Since I became the Chief of Police in April of 2001, I quickly attempted to instill the firm belief that "I" needs to become "We".
As our Mission Statement implies - we believe in community partnership. We, as individual members of the department and together as a "Team", we as government leaders, we as members of the community are all charged with the responsibility of keeping Haskins safe. None of us are effective without the integral role that others play in the process.
For those of you that reside or have visited the small community of Haskins, you may have noticed things are peaceful, friendly and inviting. I was recently asked by a colleague, given my past experiences in law enforcement, "Where is all the excitement in Haskins?". My response was quick - "We are excited about our community and the role we play in keeping Haskins - the place to live!". Some police agencies have the challenge of trying to make their community safe. Others, like the Haskins Police Department, has the challenge of keeping our community safe. Our challenge is no less important, taxing, challenging or exciting.
In closing I would like to publicly thank the community of Haskins for the support you provide us on a daily basis. We will do everything in our power to continue to earn your trust, respect and confidence and to keep Haskins a safe place to live and work. You are always encouraged to let us know how we can serve you better. Your needs are our needs.
Please make haskinspolice.org a frequent stop in your internet travels!
Respectfully,
Scott A. Frank - Chief of Police
